→ Tortillas & Assembly

17 - 4 large flour tortillas (10 inch)
18 - 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

# How To Make:

01 - Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef, cumin, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Cook, breaking up the meat, until browned and cooked through, about 8–10 minutes. Drain excess fat if needed.
02 - In a small bowl, whisk together sour cream, mayonnaise, lime juice, salt, and pepper until smooth and well combined.
03 - Heat tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave until soft and pliable for easy rolling.
04 - Spread sauce onto the center of each tortilla. Layer with lettuce, tomato, onion, avocado, cooked beef, and shredded cheese.
05 - Fold in both sides of the tortilla and roll up tightly to enclose the filling. Slice in half diagonally if desired and serve immediately, or wrap in parchment paper for a portable lunch.

# Expert Tips:

01 -
  • These wraps come together in under 30 minutes making them perfect for busy weeknight dinners
  • The creamy sauce ties everything together and balances the smoky spices perfectly
  • You can prep all the components ahead and assemble them fresh when hunger strikes
02 -
  • Cold tortillas will crack and split when you try to roll them so always warm them first
  • Let the beef cool slightly before assembling or the heat will wilt the lettuce and make the tortilla soggy
03 -
  • Double the spice rub and use half for the beef and half to season the sauce for extra depth
  • If your tortillas still feel stiff sprinkle them with a few drops of water before warming
