14 - 2 tsp maple syrup
15 - Additional nuts, carrots, or coconut flakes

# How To Make:

01 - In a medium bowl or large jar, combine rolled oats, milk, Greek yogurt, chia seeds, and maple syrup. Stir until evenly incorporated.
02 - Add grated carrot, chopped walnuts or pecans, raisins, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and salt. Mix until thoroughly combined.
03 - Cover tightly and refrigerate for at least 6 to 8 hours to allow the oats and chia seeds to fully absorb the liquid and develop flavor.
04 - Before serving, combine softened cream cheese and maple syrup in a small bowl. Whisk until smooth and creamy.
05 - Stir the chilled oats, then divide evenly between two bowls or jars. Top with the cream cheese mixture and any desired garnishes such as extra nuts, grated carrot, or coconut flakes.

# Expert Tips:

01 -
  • It tastes like dessert but fuels your whole morning without any sugar crash
  • You literally do five minutes of work at night and wake up to something incredible
02 -
  • Chia seeds clump if you dump them in without stirring, so add them gradually while whisking
  • The oats continue thickening in the fridge, so if they seem too loose at night they will be perfect by morning
03 -
  • Make a double batch on Sunday and you have breakfast sorted for four days with zero morning effort
  • Taste the oats before adding the frosting because sometimes the raisins and maple are sweet enough on their own
